Description

The project arose from the need to address challenges related to improving women's participation in business, and finding a new balance between competitiveness and balanced participation of women, especially in rural areas. Concern for stimulating the development of rural areas needs locally appropriate policies that recognize the different forms of innovation and regional development without gender bias, since the participation of rural women in the economy is essential to the economy itself. The creation of a Network of Business requires a prior analysis of the contribution of women to the relational capital in business ecosystems. We must go beyond applying methodologies for innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as indicators regardless of the gender, as this will only reinforce the patriarchal patterns, invisible because the quantity and quality of participation of women in these ecosystems and prevents us from identifying the invisible barriers that rural women face in these complex ecosystems.
