Description

The main objective of this project is to encourage the internationalization of business/companies as well as incrementing the visibility of women in business at international level. Main activities include workshops to distribute information and tools which are important in enabling internationalization for any company without experience in the field. Speakers in these workshops are professionals from a range of sectors. Consulting services will also be provided as a follow-up to the workshops, in order to provide more information about the offers and services that many institutions are making available to companies who are in the start of this process, as well as information about the destination markets that could be of their interest.

Summary of project results

Why was the project needed? The instable economic situation, which affected different countries in Europe, pushed many companies to look or move to other regions searching for new clients and business opportunities. Introducing the internationalization philosophy in a business/company causes changes at all levels, such as innovation, marketing, production and administration in order to adapt the business/company to the new markets where we are interested to be present. It is a long process that has to be done by phases, but necessary and important if our interest is to convert our business/company in international. We believe that OPEN DOOR project will bring important benefits to our participant members, by implementing the tools that we are offering them to help in this internationalization process. The main objective of this project is to help our members in the internationalization of their business/companies as well as incrementing the visibility of Women in Business at international level. This objective has been reached through the Workshops and Best Practices Seminars. The outcome has been the consolidation of bonds between members from Estonia and Spanish members, as well as the sharing of good practices from both sides, fact that has opened future possibilities to create employment. Which outputs were delivered? The development of a Communicational Tool that will provide national and international networking. How were the beneficiaries involved? An improvement in business competitiveness and recommendations of new services among participant members. It has created networking sinergies among different territories so as to identify market niches and to improve the employability of business and entrepreneurial women.
