Description

TU and Telemark University College have similar values in curricula and we would add our nation’s cultural background as an input into the design process. The aim is to integrate old traditions, techniques with innovation and modern approaches through mobility. TU and Nord-Trøndelag University College will cooperate in the field of the education of the driving instructors; TU and Gjøvik University College in game design and programming. The aim is to share know-how and enhance the quality of education through student and staff mobility. TU and Bergen University cooperate on project “DIMA” project No.EMP138. The mobility will increase cooperation quality and allow to involve MA level students both into research meetings and presenting DIMA research results on the 9th Biennial Congress of the International Academy, as well as invite a distinguished professor to present public lectures in TU. The expected outcome is a developing learning environment, and the introduction of best practices.

Summary of project results

University of Bergen: The visits in Norway increased tremendously the knowledge exchange between the EMP138 research group and increased overall quality of cooperation and research. The mobilities also increased the understanding of MA students of the Norwegian context in line with the research project, but also due to the mobility coinciding with the international conference, it increased their overall understanding on the intercultural relations research scene and increased motivation for scientific research work. Nord University (former name Nord-Trondelag University College): Representatives of both universities (academic and non-academic staff) increased their knowleges about planning and cooperation between two different university. Academics improved their foreign language skills through the conduction of lessons. Project results were achieved. NTNU (former name Gjovik University College): The students were saticfied about this possibility and valued the learning in another University.

Summary of bilateral results

University of Bergen: Partner institution were very helping and supportive during all mobilities. Nord University (former name Nord-Trondelag University College): The cooperation between our partner was very intensive and useful. NTNU (former name Gjovik University College): Everything worked smoothly. Our partner institution was really helpful: they recommended special courses to our students and gave us advice about accommodation.
