Description

The dialysis procedure is one of the most energy and resource demanding treatment methods in temporary medicine. The project idea is to develop a technology which would improve the life-quality of patients receiving dialysis through further development of an innovative sensor improving efficiency of the dialysis equipment. The solution, once fully developed, would bring economic and environmental benefits for medical equipment producers and the end users. The aim of the project is to carry out business environment analysis, competition analysis, marketing strategy, business strategy and also perform partner seeking activities.

Summary of project results

The project was needed to develop a technology which would improve the life-quality of patients receiving dialysis through further development of an innovative sensor improving efficiency of the dialysis equipment. The results are sustained through tight cooperation between the project partners and future activities; the planned solution would bring economic and environmental benefits for medical equipment both producers and the end users. The objective of this small grant scheme project was to carry out business environment analysis, competition analysis, marketing strategy, business strategy and also perform partner seeking activities. As all planned activities have been conducted, the objective can be considered reached. The project directly contributes to the programme output as the project promoter has developed and assessed its business idea and has presented the results in the final report. Project promoter has involved donor partner to take part in future developments; project promoters are also participating in the open (main) call competition.
