Description

Healthcare systems have considerably more potential to high quality, more efficient use of time, and resource effective and secured services, than currently used systems allow for. Therefore the project idea is to develop medical information platform Medinfo. Medinfo platform helps to improve resource use efficiency, the quality of medical care and medical services through sharing medial information to various institutions and collecting, managing and sharing high-quality information. This project, supported under the small grant scheme, will aim to further elaborate the project idea with the aim of preparing the project application for the main open call under the GII programme. The project aim is to carry out business analyses (market research, competition and customer needs studies), to carry out environmental impact analysis, to prepare a business strategy, to develop ICT solutions concept and to search for potential partners (also from Norway) to be involved in the project.

Summary of project results

The project was needed to develop medical information platform Medinfo that helps to improve resource use efficiency, the quality of medical care and medical services through sharing medial information to various institutions and collecting, managing and sharing high-quality information. The results are sustained through tight cooperation and future business activities. The objective of this small grant scheme project was to carry out business analyses (market research, competition and customer needs studies), to carry out environmental impact analysis, to prepare a business strategy, to develop ICT solutions concept and to search for potential partners (also from Norway) to be involved in the project. As all planned activities were conducted, the objective can be considered reached. The project directly contributes to the programme output as the project promoter has developed and assessed its business idea and has presented the results in the final report. Project promoter involved one ICT partner for open (main) call competion and has planned future activities for sustainable partnership.
