Description

The aim of the project is to create a methodology skin-to-skin care for premature babies, which sets the standardized system of care for these children and that will be applicable in routine practice in perinatal and intermediate centers and also on wards for physiological newborn. Methodology and experience will be distributed through training educators in perinatology centers, intermediate centers and maternity hospital to-day conference, which will take place at the end of the project. The project involves the creation of educational materials that will be available to conference participants and also sent to all the Baby Friendly hospitals in the Czech Republic and will thus spreading outside the target group of the project. The main target group is premature babies with very low birth weight under 1,500 grams, which represent the group burdened with increased mortality and morbidity in particular.
