Description

The Faculty of Education prepares the project about the 3 staff mobilities at University of Oslo and NSSS in Norway. The aim of our project is research visits at partners from Norway and the shading of colleagues. The research stay is a unique opportunity for the young talents to explore their skills in a new, inspiring environment and to identify valuable collaboration partners for the future. The aim of this project is to support short-term research stays and thus promote the exchange of experience and networking amongst colleagues at their research areas. The project is planned to be financed with Norwegian funds resources. The main mission of this internship (first activity at UiO) is shadowing of professor Thomas Hylland Eriksen. The aim of second activity is research visit at NSSS.

Summary of project results

The target group was selected on the basis of their research and their interest. The research stay is a unique opportunity for the young talents to explore their skills in a new, inspiring environment and to identify valuable collaboration partners for the future. The Faculty of Education of the University of Hradec Králové (Czech Republic) realizes 3 cases of individual mobility of the academic staff. Three of the young academicians of this institution have visited the University of Oslo and Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. The project whose aim is to increase skills / competences of the teaching staff focuses on two main spheres: 1. shadowing of Professor Thomas Hylland Eriksen (Jana Karlová´s mobility) and shadowing of Associate Professor Reidar Säfvenbom (Pavel Palička´s and Pavel Knajfl´s mobilities) 2. short-term research stays – exchange and deepening of educational and professional experience, visits to educational institutions, establishing of contacts and deepening of cooperation between the universities.

Summary of bilateral results

The main objective was exchange of experiences on academic level by shadowing on lectures and experiences achieved by observation on Norwegian secondary schools visited by participants with the help of NSSS. The main goal of project has been reached and even surpassed, as the young staff made use of actual opportunities (for instance: Jana Karlova joined „Climate Change and Capitalism workshop“), which brought a lot of inspiration, expert contacts and experiences. Long-term goal for participants was achieved by establishing the cooperatin on research topic with NSSS´s prof. Reidar Säfvenbom. Furthermore, touch with prof. Thomas Eriksen has been strengthened, and more profesional contacts have been established with both, University of Oslo and Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.
