Description

Project will accelerate cooperation between the applicant and the host site in the field of education in Chemical Engineering. There are at least two courses common on both sides: Transport Phenomena and Chemical Reactor Technology, in what the applicant is interested. Job shadowing is a great opportunity to exchange experience and modification the content of the courses. Practical skills of Msc students in numerical solving of related problems are main subject of interest, which could be transferred to the applicant side. Moreover, there is a common field of research interest between the applicant and the host professor, multiphase flows hydrodynamics. Behavior of single drop and bubble and groups of drops and bubbles will be discussed intensively. Expertise of the hosted side in numerical modeling is well known and highly appreciated. Experimental setup in applicants' lab is suitable for studying relevant topics. There is potentially large space for closer cooperation.

Summary of project results

Practical experience with teaching habits in the field of Transport phenomena and Chemical reaction technology was made at the host institution. Job shadowing at lectures for Msc. and Phd. students was very helpful for understanding how to transfer knowledge of numerical programming to them more effectively. Moreover, common field of research interest between the applicant and the host professor, multiphase flows hydrodynamics was discussed intensively, especially behavior of single drop and bubble and groups of drops and bubbles. Expertise of the hosted side in numerical modeling is well known and highly appreciated. Experimental setup in applicants' lab is suitable for studying relevant topics.
