Description
The planned mobility is focused on the increase of the skills of the applicant for future research activities, his teaching skills and sharing best practices in the areas of geovisualization and eye-tracking. Applicant has an experience with eye-tracking evaluation of maps and researchers from hosting institution will enhance his knowledge in the field of geovisualization. The applicant is leading the eye-tracking laboratory and is teaching Cognitive Cartography lectures. Experience from the Trondheim University will be very valuable for his research and teaching activities. The future outcomes of the mobility can also include common research papers or common research proposals. The home institution of the applicant is the only geography/GIS department in the Czech Republic using eye-tracking in cartography, so experiences from the abroad institutions are necessary for the development of the knowledge and skills in the field of eye-tracking evaluation of geovisualization.
Summary of project results
The mobility was focused on the increase of skills for future research activities, teaching skills and sharing best practices in the areas of geovisualization and eye-tracking. Than also an experience with eye-tracking evaluation of maps and during my stay, Beneficiary have cooperated with Tomasz Opach from the hosting institution and enhanced his knowledge in the field of geovisualization.
