Description

The planned mobility is to be carried out at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Norway is considered as a model state in the fight against gender inequality. Knowledge and experience from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology point at a comprehensive approach to solve gender equality. Gender equality is very important for strategic development the institution. NTNU has very active approach to gender policy. The applicant priority is to improve her current experience and knowledge in the field GENDER in STEM. The applicant expect to implement this gained experience at her home institution. The applicant will take part in the events organised by Rectorate and focus on supporting Gender Equality. This proposal also aims at facilitate close collaboration between Czech Technical University in Prague and Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.

Summary of project results

The planned mobility was to be carried out at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. A short-term internship was an opportunity lasting 2 weeks that enabled beneficiary to gain experience and a chance to learn more about gender equality in STEM. The internship was mainly opportunity to share experience and learning from the practice of regular consultations with Svandis Benediktsdottir that NTNU has more than 10 years as a gender adviser to the rector's office management.
