Description

The mobility will support and develop inter-institutional cooperation in the field of education. The Czech partner will provide knowledge, skills and methods in Health Physical Education, the Norwegian partner in Outdoor Learning. Exchange of information, student mobility, job-shadowing, model lessons will help in subsequent retraining process of teaching and learning and innovation of teaching methods. It will contribute to the development of educational programmes. Common courses will provide a platform for creating common modules, new teaching tools and methods, for integrating Health Physical Education and Outdoor Learning into the curriculum of both countries. Students and teachers will observe, demonstrate, compare and evaluate the proposed procedures in Health Physical Education and Outdoor Learning in educational process and assess crosscurricular integration.

Summary of project results

The initial motivation was the lack of awareness about Outdoor education and possibilities of interconnection and application of Outdoor learning and Health Physical Education as well as bringing both these elements among practicing and future teachers in the Czech Republic. The main reason why was the project needed was to bring experience from the Norwegian Education to the Czech system and pave the way for further cooperation and mobility. The project was aimed at strengthening the knowledge and skills of teachers and students in the field of outdoor learning education in the Czech Republic and promoting cooperation between the Czech educational institutions and educational institutions in Norway. The mobility supported and developed inter-institutional cooperation in the field of education. The Czech partner provided knowledge, skills and methods in Health Physical Education, the Norwegian partner in Outdoor Learning. Exchange of information, student mobility, job-shadowing, model lessons helped in subsequent retraining process of teaching and learning and innovation of teaching methods. It contributed to the development of educational programmes. Common courses provided a platform for for integrating Health Physical Education and Outdoor Learning into the curriculum in CR and contributed to cross-curricular integration. The results have been confronted with the ongoing program PRVOUK.

Summary of bilateral results

Bilateral relations between the two universities were built almost from scratch. During the period of preparation, implementation and evaluation of the project, many fruitful relationships have been established both in terms of work and in interpersonal relationships and friendships. There was an accord between the two Departments of Physical Education and Sports of the two universities, exchanging information, building relations and a linking the International Departments of both institutions. Personal meetings helped to mutual understanding and better understanding of the presented programs. Time spent together during the scheduled activities (common courses) advanced and significantly improved the quality of the course and results of the project and further mutual cooperation.
