The main aim will be reached by completing the following steps: - both-ways consultations, experience sharing and applying of the achieved results into the teaching syllabus; - planning of a bilateral university cooperation in order to establish new exchange program for bachelor, master and PhD students. - creating a team of specialized background for obtaining international scientific grants in given fields of research. The main outcomes of the project are namely the research activity of Faculty of Management and Economics on a higher level, involvement in the international cooperation as well as gained competencies for international scientific cooperation.

Summary of project results

The entire project unfortunately began only after March 3 due to organizational changes at TBU in Zlín. For this reason, we carried out a grant under the responsibility of different organizational unit of TBU Zlín due to a cancellation of an original unit (University Technology Transfer Centre in Zlín). Regarding the structure and role of people working on grants and a statutory representative, it remains the same as in the original proposal. This change was officially announced on DZS who agreed with it. This caused delay in the project by about two months. Even due to this unexpected dramatic time changes and the initial duration of the project of 9 months, we have managed to fulfill all planned outputs although there were several delays compared to original plan. The first workshop should be realized in May 2016, however due to unforeseen circumstances in Norway due to a national strike of 95% of hotels including our hotel, we were forced to cancel workshop in May and we organized it a month later in June, see the cancellation report in the attached file. Therefore, the second workshop had to be organized in September 2016 because we had to respect strictly set rules regarding holidays for both academics and staff in Norway. For this reason, we have not been able to fulfill mobility of students (1 student) who refused to travel at the beginning of the winter semester. With regard to the second academician, he fell ill before the journey and he was not replaced by other academician due to the previously mentioned reason, see the report from a doctor. Despite these complications, the project team has managed to fulfill all other outputs (monograph, 3 conference articles and updated syllabus of subjects). Moreover, we have managed to reach expected benefits outlined in the project application in chapter 4.2. without exception which we consider to be a great added value. Now, both project teams consider further cooperation in the form of another grant.

Summary of bilateral results

Primary target groups: academic/scientific staff and Ph.D students - this primary target group organized two workshops that were scheduled according to the plan. Altogether they collaborated on a common monograph and conference contributions. We have managed to integrate also students into scientific research activities at the international level. Our further planned cooperation will reside in submission of another joint project with Norwegian partners. Secondary target groups: college/university students - all master students in winter semester 2016/2017 (altogether 90 students) will have their first lecture according to the new syllabus of the course Services Economics at TBU in Zlín. Another target group are students of bachelor study programme within the subject Enterprise Economics that will be taught in summer semester in the academic year 2016/2017 with the overall number of students 250. The deans of both faculties were involved in the overall project processing. In terms of institutional view, this can be seen as very beneficial step. The results and overall implementation of all mentioned and set goals was even more emphasized. Subsequently, we have created research teams from both cooperating institutions. The potential for further research is very high as evidenced by the issued monograph. The project included also master degree students and Ph.D. students which was also planned as one of the anticipated intangible outputs. Other beneficieries were also university students attending the individual courses that were innovated in terms of social economy. The courses that undergone the syllabus change were namely Services Economics and Enterprise Economy at TBU in Zlín. It is clear that the benefits previously set were fulfilled for both involved institutions. For TBU in Zlín, the primary benefit was the fulfillment of cooperation with the researchers as well as at the comparable workplaces which was secured by issuing of a joint monograph. For Molde University College, the main benefit was to extend education for Master students in the field of social economy (as well as for TBU students) and then also affixed cooperation that will continue by preparing joint bachelor program.
