Summary of project results

Institutional cooperation project has achieved all the planned benefits and results. The students at MU has been activated and draged in institutional development aspects in all phases of the project (see e.g. NOII-70 Norština magisterská praxe), as well as in international cooperation proces between the partner departments in these nine months (From January to September 2016). Czech students´ Norwegian language acquisition methods has been brougt to a new, qualitative higher phase. The knowlege of contextual contingency of the study branch "Norwegian language and literature" has been appreciated, so that our graduates at bachelor and master level has been equipped with rasing chance for various activities, future jobs and professional career in directions such as translator, interpreter, journalist, teacher, tourist guide. International cooperation at our institute and at MU as whole has been focused and qualitative addited through the joint arragements with our partner at University College in Southeast Norway.

Summary of bilateral results

The project was needed for the development of the little, but important study branch of modern philolgy "Norwegian" in Czech Republic. This academic discipline being a natural bridge between Czech and Norway. As the reports from both partners proclaim and testify: this project has represented the climax of a long time period partnership between our two institutions. Challenge: We have had many ideas to carry out, but the greatest challenge has definitely been the confrontation with a very delimited nine month project period, without any possibility to enrolle and prolonge the cooperation project period and content volumen. The beneficiaries were involved with sharing distribution of the tasks througth the whole project period. E-learning courses, Text book creating and editing, Joint publication creating and editing, Mobility activities of the staff, Project workshop in Brno - all these items were running according to the project plan, to the cooperation agreement and mutual arrangement. During the project period were the project partners staying in a permanent communication situation - mails, Skype, telephone.
