Description

The project aims at improving the energy efficiency of ”Black Sea Gold” JSC in the beverage production, in order to become a more competitive company by improving its environmental performance. The implementation of the project specific objectives will: - improve the energy efficiency in the company; - contribute to the environmental sustainability; - reduce the negative environmental impact. The proposed energy efficiency measures implementation will improve the energy balance of the enterprise, so that the energy saving consumption would be 998,8 MWh annually or approx. EUR 49'600 per year. In ecological terms it means 262 tons CO2 emissions saved per year. The energy efficiency measures in the company will assure better working conditions and reduction of the percentage of the defective products and resources' savings.

Summary of project results

The project objective was to enhance efficiency and greening of manufacturing processes of Black Sea Gold JSC through implementing indoor thermal isolation. The project outputs were as follows: - Refurbishment of bottling alcoholic beverages department through indoor thermal isolation of 30 mm XPS on the roof and replacement of windows’ joinery; - Refurbishment of department for bottling of wine through indoor thermal isolation of 30 mm XPS on the roof and replacement of windows’ joinery; - Refurbishment of production storage department – by installing thermal panels on the walls and roof; - Refurbishment of the administrative department – through indoor thermal isolation of 30 mm; - XPS on the roof and walls and replacement of windows’ joinery. The project has led to reduction of heat loss and energy consumption of the company. The implemented energy efficiency measures contributed to: - Improvement of the company’s energy balance. - Better working conditions and reduction of the percentage of defective products and resources’ savings.
