Description

The project aims to implementation of joint research activities concerning the interaction between protein complexes with anti-cancer agents, training in SPR method and establishment of new research contacts with the donor partner institution. experimental, applied research conducted with equipment - BIOCORE T200 - Control and Evaluation software, and joint anaysis of the obrained results together with the Nowegian collaborator; planning of new experiments; by collaboration on the research topic the research community

Summary of project results

to implement joint research activities concerning the interaction between protein complexes with anti-cancer agents, to undergo a special training in SPR method and for establishment of new research contacts with the donor partner institution. obtained interesting and promising experimental results from the conducted experiments by employing and testing different methods for their reliability; these findings, focused on studying the connectivity of Con A protein with 8 anti-cancer agents (as the protein can be used as a transporting molecule in cancer therapy), is to be considered a contribution to the European Research Area. new data and findings that could lead to a successful therapy of cancer.

Summary of bilateral results

new knowledge as to the possibilities for therapy of cancer. Yes, definitely. fruitful bilateral research cooperation hasbeen established; preparation of a joint research paper is underway. Possibilities for continuing with the experimental research have been discussed, further expanding them by including other methods such as CD, MST, NMR etc. with the aim to carry out a future joint research project.
