Description

The objective is to develop an Energy Security Strategy for Romania. Energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and securing adequate protection of critical infrastructures are the key issues.Expected results:In Romania, the main existing strategic documents related to energy and security domain are drafted before the Romania integration in the European Union, stipulates general provisions related to energy efficiency and critical infrastructures based on Romania development scenario and on its assumed international obligations of that period. It appears as obvious the necessity to have an updated and complete document with reference to the two crucial aspects: energy efficiency and critical infrastructures in an integrated approach, considering also the new EU member statute of Romania. This is the document the ROSTREC-project aims to produce.
