Vacancy: (Senior) Bilateral Officer

The Financial Mechanism Office is looking for a (Senior) Bilateral Officer to join the EEA and Norway Grants team in Brussels. 

VA 11/2018 was published on 26.01.2018. The announcement has been amended on 9 February 2018. Please note that we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill one (Senior) Bilateral Officer vacancy (instead of two as stated in the original announcement). All already submitted applications will remain valid and will be taken into account in the selection process.

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill one (Senior) Bilateral Officer vacancy. The selected candidate will be appointed on a Senior Officer or Officer level subject to his/her relevant work experience.

We expect a candidate who is eager to work with the EEA and Norway Grants objective of strengthening bilateral relations between the three Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the 15 Beneficiary States (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Malta, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia). 

The Bilateral Officer will work closely together to achieve our bilateral goals. The EEA and Norway Grants work is of great importance to our donors, beneficiaries and partners. Our future Bilateral Officer should have experience from working in similar organisations and also from working in the area between politics and administration.

This post is open to candidates from the three donor countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway).
