To date, around 60 programmes have been sent to the donors for approval in the current funding period. With new funding made available under the EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014, many open calls are scheduled for the first quarter of 2013.

An Estonian-Norwegian conference put the spotlight on child welfare on 3-4 October 2012 in Tallinn. Estonia is adopting a number of new laws and regulations concerning children, and the conference offered a platform to discuss methods and practices used in Norway’s child welfare system.
