Strengthening bilateral cultural ties

Funds are now available to culture promoters from Lithuania, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway for partner search and preparatory visits.

Ensuring access to Lithuanian cultural heritage, culture and arts and stimulating professional cooperation are key objectives of the Lithuanian ‘Promotion of diversity in culture and arts within European cultural heritage’ programme. A call for proposals is now open through the bilateral fund of this programme to facilitate partnerships between Lithuanian culture promoters and potential project partners from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The preparatory visits can either take place in Lithuania or in one of the donor countries - Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

What can be funded?

Culture promoters from Lithuania, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway in following areas are eligible to apply for funding:

  • Visual arts;
  • Performing arts;
  • Music;
  • Interdisciplinary art;
  • Architecture;
  • Library activities;
  • Ethnic culture;
  • Literature;
  • Culture and art education;
  • Dissemination of cultural heritage;
  • Culture and cultural heritage digitization, and;
  • Museum and gallery activities

The maximum amount an activity is €4 000.

When is the application deadline?

The application deadline is 21 March 2014.
