Education in energy efficiency
Do you represent a Hungarian NGO or public school and want to exchange best practice on awareness of and education in energy efficiency with Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway? Funding is now available.
The EEA Grants energy efficiency programme in Hungary supports projects that improve energy efficiency in public schools, and promote efficient management practices and increase awareness of and education in energy efficiency.
Exchange of best practice
The three donor countries of the EEA Grants, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, have good practices in the area of awareness of and education in energy efficiency, including the adequate use of processes and technologies for energy efficiency suitable for households, the efficient operation of public buildings and public schools and education of energy-efficient lifestyle.
Funding is now available for public schools and NGOs that wish to exchange experience with the donor states. The goal of the calls is to strengthen relations in the field of energy efficiency between Hungary and the donor countries through getting familiar with the prevailing best practices in the donor countries and the involvement of donor project partners.
Public schools and NGOs
In the framework of the 'Exchange of experience for Public Schools' call for proposals only those institutions and organisations are allowed to submit proposals whose projects are approved under ‘Improving Energy Efficient Public Schools' call for proposals. Applicants should therefore not submit any application until the evaluation of this programme is closed.
In the framework of the 'Exchange of experience for non-governmental organisations' call for proposals only those non-governmental organisations are allowed to submit proposals who are active on the field of environmental protection, awareness of and education in energy efficiency.
For more information on the calls for proposals, please visit the website of the Hungarian programme operator.
The deadline for both calls is 30 May 2014.
