Through the eyes of Czech students and teachers
Some of the 200 Czech students and teachers who have studied or worked in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the Czech scholarship fund are sharing their experiences in a new publication.
The €2.8 million Czech schools and scholarship fund awards grants to Czech students and teachers for study or work periods in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. In addition, the fund supports projects by Czech secondary schools and universities implemented in partnership with educational institutions in the three EEA EFTA countries.
The students and teachers who spent the year 2006/2007 in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway have now contributed to a booklet describing their experiences and impressions from their stay abroad.
The Czech scholarship fund currently has an ongoing call for cooperation projects between schools, as well as scholarships for students and teachers. Applications can be submitted until 15 October for studies commencing the coming spring semester.
Applications from Czech teachers and administrative staff are accepted on rolling basis, but must be submitted a minimum 6 weeks before the planned start of the mobility. Further details are available on the web site of fund manager, The National Agency for European Educational Programmes.
