Presentation of FRA study on violence against women
FRA (European Union Agency on Fundamental Rights) will present and discuss the full findings of its EU-wide survey on violence against women at a high-level seminar in secretariat of the Council of the European Union in Brussels.
The findings are based on interviews with 42 000 women across the EU's 28 Member States during which women were asked about their experiences of physical, sexual and psychological violence, including incidents of intimate partner violence (‘domestic violence’). Women were also asked about their experiences of stalking, sexual harassment, and the role played by new technologies in women’s experiences of abuse.
The Norway Grants support programmes against domestic and Gender-based violence in seven countries. Read more about these activities on the EEA and Norway Grants website
