International Conference: "Breaking the Circle of Roma Exclusion"

The main purpose of this international conference is to delve into the results and challenges of the Romanian "Children and Youth at Risk" programme. This programme aims at implementing effective measures addressing vulnerable groups of children and youth facing particular risks, and to develop initiatives to reduce inequalities and to strengthen anti-discriminatory measures for groups vulnerable to social and economic exclusion.

This two-day conference, attended by both high-level decision-makers and experts and researchers on the issue of Roma inclusion, will provide a framework to discuss the challenges and results of the projects related to socio-economic inclusion of the Roma.

The organizers also want to take a step forward exploring the lessons learned from the best practices to improve the national and local strategies, public policies and action plans on social inclusion of Roma.

Various exhibitions, movies and workshops will present the outcomes of funded projects in areas such as Education, Youth, Anti-discrimination and Inter-culturalism to foster discussion on future perspectives for Roma inclusion.

To attend this event, please register at www.granturi-corai.ro before September 25, 2017.
