Conference: The possibilities of territory adaption to the impacts of climate change
The conference is focused on the design of the comprehensive system of adaption control measures, including water reservoirs in the pilot catchment of the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic - Kyjovka, Trkmanka, Velička, Litava and Nedveka.
Among the thematic areas covered are climate change and drought symptoms, adaption control measures and the effect of climate change on agricultural production systems.
The conference will see the participation of experts on climate change, erosion and hydric regimes, as well as experts from Palacký University Olomouc, who are part of the project 'Implementation of retention and infiltration adaptation measures in the Morava river basin.'
The conference is organised under the framework of the Czech 'Environment and climate change' programme funded by the EEA Grants.
