Bilateral seminar: Cooperating to innovate

The purpose of this bilateral seminar is to discuss opportunities for cooperation between Portuguese NGOs supported through the EEA Grants and institutions in the donor countries.

The seminar will provide an opportunity for Portuguese NGOs to present and share best practices and experiences, as well as to discuss possibilities for future cooperation with entities in the donor countries.

Topics to be discussed:

  • A review of the support granted the Portuguese NGO programme under the current period, including the main results of the independent evaluation of the support to strengthened bilateral relations under the EEA and Norway Grants that is currently being carried out
  • Case studies by some of the supported NGOs aiming to demonstrate their impact on capacity building or project improvement
  • Future opportunities for support and cooperation between Portuguese and donor state entities

The seminar is supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the Portuguese NGO programme, and is organised by programme operator Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Portuguese NGOs covering all areas of civil society work are expected to participate at the conference.
