Summary of project results

Paper is one of the most important tools that allowed the humanity to reach this specific way of civilization. The paper is statistically considered to be the most valuable support for our information. The project generated sustainability for the on-going nongovernmental organisation that sustains the "paper making revival" and the correct use of the natural fibers for the paper making, as well as the correct reuse of the waste paper, in order to reduce secondary effects. An innovative technique to manufacture paper was created by using waste paper and newly created equipment - lamp shade press. This way, a new green product was conceived - lamp shade made from waste paper - and more than 10 lamp shades were designed. The project made it possible to create 2 new jobs for production of manual paper lamp shades and maintain 4 jobs (project team). More than 3000 kilos of waste paper were used in the production of lamp shades.
