Description

In Slovakia, the tripartite dialogue is not efficient enough in representing workers and employers needs. The aim of this project is to strengthen bilateral relations and exchange knowledge between Norway and Slovakia and to improve social dialogue and its practices. Knowledge will be gained from Norway within the field of tripartite dialogue, effective labour market policies and modern social security systems. The project will promote social dialogue on decent work issues and improve the cooperation between social partners of trade unions, employers’ organisations and public authorities to help them in supporting equitable and sustainable social and economic development. Our project reflects principles of changes in labour force, a life-long learning strategy, effective labour market policies and modern social security systems. The main project activities are organising seminars, and gaining data and experience on working practice on improving collective bargaining and employment. The project will also initiate comparative studies on good practices of labour market.
