Description

The objective of the project is to promote decent work and tripartite dialogue among the employees of Warsaw City Office through the implementation of two platforms. The internal regulations of Warsaw City Office currently lack provisions on both the creation and continuation of tripartite dialogue and the possibility to conduct e-learning training of employees on parental leave or long-term sick leave. Furthermore, the regulation offers no appropriate solutions or documents related to a tripartite dialogue or a social dialogue. Following meetings with tripartite dialogue representatives, documents will be drawn up describing the scope of planned actions, initiatives to be undertaken, and scope of cooperation. According to trade unions, there is lack of an effective way of communication between the management and employees regarding widely understood working conditions.

Summary of project results

The aim of the project was to promote decent work and tripartite dialogue between the employees of the City of Warsaw through the implementation of two platforms; Platform for Cooperation and e-learning platform. The main activities that have been performed during the project implementation have been related to: - organizing 14 professional development training programs - 2’000 information brochures, 2’500 leaflets and 450 posters printed out - 2 Conferences conducted - 1 Study visit to Norway and 2 business trips of the project team - 1 Evaluation Report - 4 articles in the press - 764 questionnaires on training needs - 1 training report - 23 information and consultation meetings. All the above activities have finally resulted in the creation of an e-learning platform, which increased the adaptation of people returning to work after parental leave. The project helped to reduce the margin separating these employees from working life. They have better access to communicate with the workplace through the tripartite dialogue platform. It made an increase in adaptability and lifelong learning opportunities of employees. The results of the project lead to: 1) Establishment of the tripartite dialogue at the workplace; 2) Improving the adaptability and lifelong learning opportunities of employees; 3) Development of new anti-bullying and anti-discrimination policies.
