Description

The aim of the project is to develop the infrastructure (buildings’ demolition, renovation and construction, and purchase of equipment) of Nea Eleousa Institution for people with severe mental disabilities and multiple physical disabilities, in order to transform it into a Day Care Centre and to enhance the capacity of the staff to provide the appropriate services tο children and youth with multiple disabilities (mental, cognitive, social). The implementation of this Project will contribute to the combating of social exclusion of the target group, namely children and youth with multiple physical and mental disabilities, to the reduction of the barriers which isolate people with disabilities and to the reintegration of the direct beneficiaries into the community, and thus to the improvement of the overall well-being of the direct beneficiaries and their families, guardians and carers.
