These are testing times. The social, economic and political upheavals sparked by the economic and financial crisis continue to hit Europe hard. The downturn has wiped out much of the growth and progress made by our beneficiary countries in the years leading up to 2008. Through the EEA and Norway Grants, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway demonstrate their commitment to helping to reduce economic and social disparities in Europe and to strengthening cooperation with the beneficiary countries.

The annual report gives you an insight into the breadth and depth of this cooperation. You can also read more about the efforts of the Grants to counter hate speech and empowering minorities as well as fighting climate change. The report also presents the key priorities for each beneficiary country.
