Norway is supporting the cross-border partnership fund with €1 million, with the fund Intermediary, East European Democratic Centre, providing the remaining 15% of the fund.
The overarching aim of the fund is to stimulate the capacity for cross-border cooperation of public Polish entities on regional and local levels. Through three open calls, grants were awarded to 42 projects.
Funding is awarded both to projects carried out in bilateral partnerships with partners from the donor countries or from the Baltic Sea area countries and to projects carried out in multilateral partnerships with at least two foreign partners, including Ukraine, Belarus, the Russian Federation – Kaliningrad District.
