Europa Nostra Congress: Cultural Heritage Awards and Conference

Each year, Europa Nostra celebrates excellence and devotion by rewarding cultural heritage achievements in Europe.

This year's European Heritage Awards Ceremony will take place in Oslo on 11-12 June. During the ceremony, the President of Europa Nostra, Maestro Plácido Domingo, and the new European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Tibor Navracsics, will jointly present the 2015 European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards to up to 30 winners.

The European project ‘Cultural Heritage Counts for Europe’, coordinated by Europa Nostra and supported by the EU Culture programme, will be presented on 12 June at the Munch Aula, with its famous paintings by Edvard Munch, of the Domus Media of the Oslo University. The EEA Grants' work supporting cultural heritage will likewise be presented at this occasion.
