Cultural heritage and dialogue. Lutosławski – Nordheim
The conference will explore the work of Witold Lutoslawski and his friendship with the renowned Norwegian composer Arne Nordheim.
Lutoslawski and Nordheim are considered to be among the most outstanding artists of the twentieth century, both bringing the contemporary music of their countries to a global level.
The conference takes place as a part of the 'Between national identity and a community of cultures: from Chopin and Tellefsen to XXI century' project. The project is supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the Polish 'Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage' programme.
