Conference: The role of non-governmental sector and academia in research on anti-corruption, judiciary and good governance

The main aim of the conference is to address current legal issues in an effort to deal with present legal challenges, and provide a forum for expert discussions.

The conference will gather distinguished scholars, high-ranking government officials, legal experts and representatives from the non-governmental sector, and aims to provide an arena for discussing current legal challenges. During the two-day conference, several topics will be discussed and highlighted in specialised parallel sessions. One of the topics will focus on research and tools of non-governmental sector and academia in the area of the judiciary and good governance.

The conference is supported through the Slovak 'Funds for non-governmental organisations - democracy and human rights' programme, and will see the participation of two of the programme project promoters (Via Luris and Aliancia Fair-Play) in the expert panel section on the role of NGOs in research on the judiciary and good governance.
