Conference: Gender stereotypes and their influence on equal opportunities and domestic violence

On 20 November, the Open Society Fund (OSF) will organise a conference for sharing international experiences in projects supported by the EEA and Norway Grants in the field of combating domestic and gender-based violence and mainstreaming gender equality.

The main aim of the conference is to share the various experiences from EEA and Norway Grants supported projects addressing domestic violence and equal opportunities. In addition to the experience exchanges the conference will place a particular focus on the influence the gender stereotypes have on equal opportunities and domestic violence, as well as the findings of this year's FRA survey on domestic violence.

The Open Society Fund administers the Czech 'Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Promoting Work-Life Balance & Domestic and Gender-based Violence; Let’s give (wo)men a chance' programme.
